Our Team
Benjamin Haynes, President
Ben has been a business owner and licensed contractor for more than 30 years. For over two decades, he also worked as a forensic contractor, developing a unique ability to identify how even the highest-quality windows and doors can fail when improperly installed. His experience includes deconstructing homes and commercial buildings to uncover the root causes of construction defects, as well as serving as an expert witness in both state and federal courts. This background has shaped his unmatched passion for precision, accountability, and quality installation.
Ben is an active leader within the Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA), where he serves as Vice President, TCBA PAC Chair, and a member of the Board of Directors for The Charitable Workforce. He is also engaged at the state level through the Florida Home Builders Association, serving on the FHBA PAC Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and his four grandchildren, giving back to the community, paddleboarding, surfing, and unwinding with a game of golf.
Brandon Mendez, Project Manager
Brandon grew up in the construction industry and brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in the window and door industry, delivering extensive knowledge and expertise to every project. His background includes installing windows and doors across all types of construction, with a career built on quality, precision, and attention to detail. In an industry where reliability matters, Brandon is known for delivering superior workmanship while building lasting, positive
relationships with clients. He approaches every project with care, professionalism, and pride, ensuring results that meet the highest standards.
When he’s not in the field, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son while making the most of life on the Treasure Coast. His hobbies include woodturning, fishing, golfing, and soaking up the sunshine that makes the area so special.
Skyler Haynes, Estimator
Skyler grew up in the construction industry and brings a deep, well-rounded understanding of windows and doors. With a strong foundation in hands-on window installation and years of experience as a window estimator, he offers exceptional expertise across both the technical and client-focused aspects of the trade. His time in the field has given him an in-depth knowledge of window systems, materials, and the details that make installations perform and last.
Beyond technical skill, Skyler is committed to customer satisfaction and consistently works to exceed expectations by providing thoughtful, reliable solutions. This dedication, combined with his comprehensive industry knowledge, has earned him a reputation for excellence and dependability.
Skyler holds a degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University (LSU) and is a Florida Licensed General Contractor. When he’s not in the office or assisting clients, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and son, golfing or chasing the best waves he can find.
Christine Candiff-Lewis, Business Development Manager
Christine brings over 23 years of experience in the criminal justice field into the business world, offering strong leadership, discipline, and a well-rounded perspective. As Business Development Manager at H&M Impact Window & Door, she is dedicated to building meaningful relationships, supporting local businesses, and making a positive impact throughout the Port St. Lucie community.
In addition to her role at H&M, Christine is actively involved in several professional networking organizations, where she serves in leadership positions. She is also the co-founder of Christine Squared, an organization focused on shining a light on local charities and the important work they do to strengthen the community.
Christine is a proud U.S. Army veteran with 23 years of service and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is married to a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and is the proud mother of four adult children, along with three “bonus” daughters. Outside of work, Christine prioritizes her faith and family, and her joyful spirit and commitment to service are evident in both her personal life and professional endeavors.
Kelly Haynes, Office Manager
Kelly keeps our office running smoothly while providing exceptional support to both our team and our clients. As a former top 1% nationwide real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway, she brings a strong understanding of quality, service, and client expectations, consistently going above and beyond in all she does. Her attention to detail and personal approach help ensure every client feels informed, supported, and like part of the H&M family.
Kelly loves being part of the Treasure Coast community and is truly grateful to work alongside family while living in paradise. When she’s not in the office or meeting with clients, you’ll find her spoiling her four grandchildren, chasing sunsets at the beach, paddleboarding, and enjoying the ocean with her family.
Caity Mendez, Front Office Administrator
Caity was born and raised in the Florida Keys before making the Treasure Coast her home. With extensive experience in customer service, her professional background includes licensure in both real estate and community management. Caity provides exceptional service, ensuring every client’s experience with H&M is handled with care, professionalism, and trust from start to finish.
She feels truly blessed to work alongside her family, as family is at the heart of her values. When she’s not in the office, Caity enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, their son, and their golden retriever, Buddy.
